  • Vice President Development and Sales - New York, NY

  • Radius Global Market Research is seeking a bright and motivated market research professional to join our Business Development and Sales team.

    Applicants should have a strong background in Quantitative methods and have a proven track record in client development. The candidate should have a working knowledge of a wide range of techniques as well as hands-on experience. Must demonstrate ability to function independently, to design and sell-through research studies, have excellent client communication and presentation skills.

  • Senior Research Analyst - New York, NY

  • Reports to: Senior Vice President

    Summary:

    Responsible for overseeing the execution and analysis of custom marketing research projects from inception through reporting, with some supervision on design and analytics. Includes the drafting and analysis of research reports, complete with recommendations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ability to manage projects through execution process without supervision
    • Must be able to work independently
    • Commitment and dedication to get the job done
    • Strong communication skills
    • Must be proactive and take initiative to learn more about market research and existing clients´ businesses
    • Be able to solve problems quickly and concisely

    Qualification/Requirements:

    • Strong writing skills; building a story from the data
    • Experience with multivariate techniques
    • Excellent analytic skills
    • Knowledge of a variety of different research methods
    • Knowledge of all operational components including:
      • Questionnaire development
      • Development of coding structures
      • Specifying and checking computer tables
      • Understanding of sampling issues
    • Some management experience of junior staff

    Education/Training/Experience:

    A Bachelors or Masters degree is required, with at least 4 years in a custom research supplier or 2 to 3 years client-side and 2 to 3 years supplier-side.

  • Statistical Assistant - New York, NY

  • Summary:

    Assist in building predictive models in Excel.

    Data Skills:

    • Strong Excel skills: familiarity with macros
    • Familiarity with standard statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or Systat)
    • Some programming background: (Visual Basic or C++) (Helpful, but optional)
    • At ease working with large data sets
    • Data precision: incorporates internal data checks

    Data Savvy: Conceptual understanding of underlying statistical premise, meaning...

    • Can see 'past the numbers'

  • Statistical Analyst - New York, NY

  • Reports to: Director of Methodology and Modeling

    Summary:

    Assist in, and eventually assume all responsibility for, building predictive models using conjoint and regression approaches. Work with project staff to implement all multivariate work - mapping, segmentation and related areas.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Choice modeling: program design through data analysis and simulation
    • Implementation of multivariate approaches: Latent Class regression, segmentation, all types of perceptual mapping
    • Learn and implement new approaches and techniques
    • Work with project staff to translate statistical concepts into applications

    Qualification/Requirements:

    • Data Skills:
      • High degree of comfort with standard statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or Systat)
      • Conceptual understanding of standard multivariate approaches (correlation, regression, factor, segments)
      • Some programming background: (Visual Basic or C++)
      • At ease working with large data sets
      • Data precision: incorporates internal data checks
      • Can 'automate' repetitive tasks
    • Data Savvy:
      • Conceptual understanding of underlying statistical premise, meaning...
        • Can see 'past the numbers'
        • Willing to apply concepts creatively, rather than 'by the book'
        • Can apply approaches across studies - 'if it works here, it ought to work there'
